Rescheduled White Section Meet concludes with 19 broken records

A total of 19 records were broken at the SWAC White Section Track and Field Meet on Friday in Swift Current.

Consul’s Gavin Johnson established a new standard in the Intermediate Boys 400 Metre Dash in 59.57 seconds. He added a record in the 800 Metres in 2:30.97.

Maple Creek’s Camryn Bock is the new record holder in the Bantam Girls 100 Metre Dash after crossing the finish line in 13.29 seconds. Bock added a record in the 200 Metres in 28.57 seconds.

Maple Creek’s Alex Cruz established a new mark of 11.61 seconds in the Junior Boys 100 Metre Dash.

Amy Anderson, representing the Frontier Raiders, set a new record in the Intermediate Girls 400 Metre Dash in 1:12.60.

Maple Creek’s Kyeina Noval added a record in the Senior Girls 400 Metre Dash in 1:09.71.

Cabri’s Sienna Watson raced to a new record in the Intermediate Girls 800 Metre Run in 3:02.69.

Maple Creek’s Sierra Frey added a record in the Junior Girls 800 Metre Run in 2:43.43.

Maple Creek’s Towa Whitefish had a record-breaking performance in the Intermediate Boys 3,000 Metre Run in 11:06.40.

Shaunavon’s Madden Wallis set a new record in Senior Boys High Jump when he cleared the bar at 1.85 metres.

Frontier’s Savannah Koudelka established a new record in Junior Girls Shot Put with an 8.35-metre throw.

Cabri’s Paxton Yoner added a record in the Bantam Boys 80 Metre Hurdles in 14.65 seconds.

Jaida Wickham, representing the Shaunavon Shadows, set a Bantam Girls High Jump after clearing the bar at 1.38 metres.

Frontier’s Kassie Gryde set a new mark in Bantam Girls Discus Throw at 23.00 metres.

Eastend’s Jaelyn Wills added a record in the Bantam Girls Shot Put at 8.60 metres.

Three new relay records were set in Swift Current. Maple Creek set a Junior Boys 4×100 record in 51.50 seconds. Cabri set a Junior Girls 4×100 mark in 1:00.56. Eastend added a Bantam Girls 4×100 Metre record in 1:00.00.

Maple Creek’s Camryn Bock won the Bantam Girls Division title with 36 points.

Cabri’s Cade Napper claimed the Bantam Boys Division with 32 points.

Shaunavon’s Hannah Christensen and Cabri’s Sienna Watson tied for the Intermediate Girls Division title with 36 points apiece.

Eastend’s Jace Egland accumulated the maximum 40 points to win the Intermediate Boys Division title.

Consul’s Jordan Leismeister also secured all 40 possible points to win the Junior Boys Division aggregate title.

Maple Creek’s Kyeina Noval won the Senior Girls title with 30 points.

Frontier’s Kyle Anderson and Shaunavon’s Madden Wallis tied for the Senior Boys title with 38 points each.
