15U AAA 57’s split four-game weekend home stand

The Swift Current 15U AAA Kal Tire 57’s are all even after four games in league play this season.

Saturday, the 57’s opened the season with a 23-1 win over the Sask Five Giants. Keegan Kristmanson led the 57’s with a single, two walks, two runs scored, and three runs batted in. Mason Fauser earned the win as he struck out seven over four innings, allowing only one hit and three walks. He also doubled, walked twice, stole a base, and scored four runs.

They lost the rematch 19-5. Fauser hit a home run, doubled, scored twice, and had two RBIs in the loss. Aiden Kilshaw singled, doubled, scored, and had two RBIs as well.

Sunday, the 57’s lost 4-0 to the Regina White Sox. Quinn Bolton singled twice as the 57’s were held to two hits.

They won the rematch 4-2 over the White Sox. The 57’s were held to two hits, but worked their way to eight walks and stole eight bases. Jamie Kirwan walked twice, stole two bases, and scored a pair of runs. Kilshaw singled, stole three bases, and scored one run. Kristmanson struck out nine as he allowed one run over five innings in the win

The 15U AAA 57’s will visit the East Central Dodgers for two games on Saturday and the Moose Jaw Canucks for two games on Sunday.
