Swift Current rink overwhelms Nunavut at Mixed Curling Nationals

The Swift Current rink representing Saskatchewan at the 2022 Canadian Mixed Curling Championship defeated Nunavut 12-1 in their only game Tuesday in Prince Albert.

The rink skipped by Cabri’s Shaun Meachem opened the game with four points in the opening end and added three-point ends in the third and fourth to improve to 3-1 at Nationals.

Meachem is joined by third Kelly Schafer, second Chris Haichert, and lead Teejay Haichert.

Second-place Saskatchewan will conclude the round robin on Wednesday against New Brunswick (3-1) and British Columbia (2-2).
