Broncos skate past Pats in Family Day matinee

Josh Davies and Karson King each scored twice to lift Swift Current Broncos to a 4-3 win over the host Regina Pats on Monday afternoon.

Davies scored the game winner in the third period, his 15th goal of the season, midway through the final frame. King scored the Broncos first two goals and now has four goals in his last six games.

Tanner Howe, Connor Bedard, and Stanizlav Svozil replied for the Pats during the back-and-forth affair.

Isaac Poulter made 29 saves to improve to 15-16-4-1. Drew Sim fell to 3–8-0-1 with 19 saves.

The Broncos moved into seventh place in the Eastern Conference with a 19-25-5-1 record. The Pats fell to 18-24-1-1 in 11th place.

The Broncos will visit the Moose Jaw Warriors on Friday.
