The Swift Current Comp. Ardens senior girls basketball team won all four games by at least 40 points to claim a tournament championship in North Battleford.
The Ardens opened the tournament with a 65-22 win over the Estevan Elecs. Grade 11 forward Makayla Fleischfresser led the Ardens with 14 points, followed by 10 points from grade 12 Mackenzie McIntyre.
The Ardens followed up with a 74-34 win over North Battleford John Paul II. Fleischfresser and grade nine guard Dani Meyer each scored 11 points.
The Ardens defeated Melfort 73-18 in the semi-final, led by 18 points from McIntyre and 12 from Veda Gottselig.
The Ardens closed out the championship with a 71-22 win over Prince Albert Carlton. Fleischfresser paced the Ardens for a third game with 18 points. Jordyn Salberg and McIntyre each chipped in 10 points.
The Ardens will head to Moose Jaw for a tournament this weekend.
