Isaac Poulter celebrated his 100th game with the Swift Current Broncos with a 32-save shutout in a 3-0 win over the visiting Saskatoon Blades.
Mathew Ward gave the Broncos the lead in the first period on the power play with his eighth goal of the season. Raphael Pelletier doubled the lead in the second period with his sixth goal of the season. Josh Filmon closed the scoring in the third period with his seventh goal of the season. All three goals scorers added assists during two-point outings.
Poulter improved to 5-5-1-1 with his third career shutout. Nolan Maier took the loss with 23 saves on 26 shots.
The Broncos improved to 6-9-2-1, while
Saskatoon fell to 11–7-1-0.
The Broncos will visit the Brandon Wheat Kings on Tuesday to open a two-game Manitoba road trip.
