Shaunavon’s Kalan Lind will get his first experience with Hockey Canada later this month.
The Red Deer Rebels forward was one of 66 players named to the Hockey Canada Under-17 roster for the 2021 Capital City Challenge. The tournament will take place on Nov. 26-Dec.1 in Ottawa, featuring three under-17 teams from Canada and the Canada Women’s National Team.
Lind has three goals and one assist in 14 games during his 16-year-old season with the Rebels. He also registered six points in 15 games last season as an underage after being drafted sixth overall in 2020.
