It was a career night for Swift Current’s Reed Jacobson on Wednesday.
The second-year forward finished with two goals and two assists for his first four-point outing in the Western Hockey League. Jacobson scored in the second period to give the Spokane Chiefs a 3-1 lead and then scored on the power play in the third period for an insurance goal in a 5-2 win over the visiting Tri-City Americans.
Jacobson now has four goals and four assists in eight games this season. He broke into the WHL with 11 points in 50 games last season.
