Swift Current RCMP release composite sketch of suspect in June 29 sexual assault

Composite Sketch provided by the Swift Current RCMP The Swift Current RCMP have released a composite sketch of a suspect involved in a June 29 sexual assault in Swift Current.

The Swift Current RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in a June 29 sexual assault in Swift Current.

RCMP are seeking assistance in locating an adult male in connection to the sexual assault of an adult female which occurred at approximately 10 p.m. on June 29 along the Chinook Pathway near the 13th Ave. N.E. bridge.

The male suspect was described as being of heavy build, approximately 6’5” and weighing approximately 300 to 350 lbs. He was wearing a hooded sweater and may be bald.

The suspect was not known to the victim.

A composite sketch of the suspect was completed by an RCMP forensic sketch artist earlier this week.

Swift Current RCMP report this is the lone incident of sexual assault reported during the last several months. The investigation into the assault is ongoing.
