Swift Current will be the site of the Saskatchewan Soccer Association
Soccer 4 Life Provincial Championships this weekend.
A total of 22 teams will be in action this weekend, including three Swift Current United Soccer Club sides.
The U15 United Boys will be playing in a six-team tournament. They open the round robin on Friday at 6 p.m. against Prince Albert Celtic at Irwin Field.
The U15 Boys will also battle Meridian FC on Saturday at 8:15 a.m. and Yorkton United FC at 4:15 p.m.
The U15 championship match is slated for Sunday at 1 p.m. at Riverside Field.
The U17 Girls will look to improve upon their second-place finish at Provincials in 2018. They open the four-team round robin on Friday at 5 p.m. against the Weyburn Red Devils at Irwin Field.
They will continue their title quest on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. against FC Regina and at 6:45 p.m. against Prince Albert Celtic.
The U17 Girls championship match will be Sunday at 9:15 a.m. at Riverside Field.
The U19 United Girls will attempt to defend their provincial title on home turf. They open provincials on Friday at 5 p.m. against Moose Jaw at Riverside Field.
They also take on Saskatoon’s Aurora Majestic on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. and Yorkton United FC at 5:30 p.m.
The U19 championship match will take place on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. at Riverside Field.
