The Swift Current Rugby Club was in Regina for three games on Monday and finished with a 1-1-1 record.
Swift Current opened the day with a narrow 25-24 loss to the Regina Fury. Allison Wall led the way with two trys and one convert. Gabrielle Schmidt added a try and a convert, while Anna Voysey also had one try.
Swift Current bounced back to defeat Regina’s College Ave 27-22 in their second game. Schmidt paced the attack with two trys and one convert. Wall, Jayne Hanson, and Kirsten Evjen all added trys.
The Swift Current Rugby Club tied Martin 15-15 in their final game of the day. Hanson, Voysey, and Evjen all notched trys in the draw.
