The Swift Current Junior SunDogs 15U Yellow Girls completed their season with a fantastic performance at Sask Volleyball Provincials in Saskatoon this past weekend.
They started Saturday off with a loss in three sets to JCVC Black Chaos (25-17, 23-25, 7-15).
The 15U Yellow SunDogs went on to win the rest of their round robin games as they defeated the Lloydminster Rustlers Green (14-25, 25-15, 15-7), the South West Raiders (25-21, 23-25, 15-12), and the Meadow Lake Heat (25-16, 27-25).
They moved into the Division 2 playoffs and had a very close game with WBCVC Warriors but came out with a loss in three sets (25-20, 21-25, 10-15).
They next met a tough opponent in the Huskies Green 14U team and lost 14-25 and 17-25.
The Jr Sundogs 15U Yellow girls finished their season off with an amazing performance against the QCVC Royal Black team with a two-set victory (25-11, 25-20).
This placed them in seventh place in Division 2, which was 17th overall out of 43 teams competing in the tournament.
