The Swift Current Broncos made a move to add depth to their forward ranks on Tuesday when they announced the acquisition of 18-year-old forward Colum McGauley.
The Broncos sent an eighth round pick in the 2021 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft to the Kelowna Rockets for the Nelson, BC product.
The 5’11’’, 174-pound forward registered two goals and 14 penalty minutes in 47 games during his first WHL season with the Rockets last season. He was originally drafted in the fourth round, 75th overall, by the Spokane Chiefs in the 2015 Bantam Draft.
