The Swift Current Pee Wee Sonic, host of the 2018 Softball Saskatchewan Pee Wee C Provincial Championships, started their season hosting the Kindersley Royals in a double header on Sunday.
The first game ended in a 12-12 tie. The Sonic took the second game by a 17-3 score.
The Pee Wee Sonic is made up of players from the three Swift Current Pee Wee teams that play in the Sandhills Softball League. The Sonic will play exhibition games and tournaments in preparation for the Pee Wee C Saskatchewan Softball Provincial Championships.
The 2018 Sonic roster includes: Kadence Pavely, Aurora Van Wormer, Rio Runcie, Jada Grainger, Paris Appel, Morgan Bailey, Morgan Coward, Katie Hudec, Ava Geissler, Hillary Lacelle, and Makayla Fleischfresser.
The team is coached by Chris Grainger, Brad Appel, and Terry Pavely.
