The 16U Black Female Junior SunDogs volleyball team was in Saskatoon and Warman for Sask Cup #3 on March 24-25 and placed fourth in Division One with a 4-3 record.
They opened the tournament on Saturday with a 3-1 record, beginning with a three-set win over the Weyburn Rush (20-25, 25-13, 15-11).
They lost to the BVC Impact in three sets (25-20, 14-25, 15-17), but then defeated the P.A. Toppers En Fuego in three sets (25-11, 22-25, 15-11) and the QCVC Avalanche (25-5, 25-13).
Sunday, the Junior SunDogs defeated the Cougars Volleyball Club in three sets (25-22, 22-25, 15-12) before losing to the Huskies Volleyball Club (25-20, 22-25, 10-15). They concluded the tournament with a bronze medal match loss to the Saskatchewan Stealth (23-25, 21-25).
