The Swift Current Abbey Resources Midget AA Broncos picked up a fourth consecutive win in the South Saskatchewan Midget AA Hockey League with a 6-0 win over the host Regina Capitals Monday.
Rhett Evjen led the Broncos with two goals and one assist, followed by a goal and two assists from John Priela. Brock Herter and Matthew Christianson each added a goal and an assist, while Quinn Pateneaude added a pair of helpers.
Beau Larson also scored, while Nathan McInnis and Colt Kornfeld added assists and Jacob Herman earned the shutout in goal.
The Broncos improved to 17-7-4-2, while the Capitals dropped to 13-14-1-3 with their third straight loss.
The fifth-place Broncos will be back at home Wednesday to host the last-place Moose Jaw Warriors at 7:30 p.m. at Fairview West Arena.
