The Swift Current Bantam 57’s emerged from a grueling a six-game Regina Bantam AAA Baseball League home stand with four wins over the weekend.
They played under the lights at Mitchell Field on Friday and defeated the White Butte Broncos 3-0 and 13-2.
They hosted the Weyburn Beavers on Saturday and lost 11-3 and 22-10 as every player on the roster had pitched by the end of the day. The 57’s rebounded Sunday to earn 3-1 and 13-1 wins over the visiting Regina Buffalos to improve to 10-5 in league play this season.
The Bantam 57’s are back at home this weekend for games against the Buffalos and the Pacers.
