The Swift Current Broncos added three prospects in the 2026 CHL Import Draft on June 30.
The Broncos used the 21st overall pick to select 2010-born defenseman Yuri Vlasenko. Vlasenko spent the 2025-26 season with Dynamo Moskova U16. He served as an alternate captain and was named the top 2010-born defenseman in Russia.
They added 2008-born forward Oliver Torkki with the 67th overall pick. The Finland product had 11 goals and eight assists in 23 games with Kiekko-Espoo U20 last season.
The Broncos added 6’6’’ Russian forward Stepan Farushev with the 91st overall pick. Farushev registered 11 goals and 12 assists in 28 games with Severnaya Zvezda before finishing the season with MAH Moskva-2 U18, where he posted seven goals and nine assists in 14 games.
The Broncos also announced that they had parted ways with import forward Stepan Kuryachnkov. The Russian forward had 12 goals and 16 assists in 47 games during his rookie season in Swift Current. He was drafted in the second round by the Brampton Battalion, 68th overall on Tuesday.
