U15/U17 United girls remain unbeaten

The Swift Current United U15/U17 Girls remain unbeaten in the Forge Spring League this season. They won all three games in Weyburn over the weekend, allowing only one goal, to improve to 5-0-1 on the season. 

They defeated Moose Jaw Excelsior 4-0 to open the weekend. Claire Metke scored twice, while Mya Dowdeswell and Kira Gatzke also scored. Rory Williams and Sophia Doulias shared the clean sheet in goal. 

They followed up with an 8-1 win over East Central Academy. Dowdeswell scored three goals, while Gatzke and Rowan Robinson both added two goals. Tienna Reinhart also scored.

Swift Current rounded out the weekend with a 4-0 victory over Yorkton United on Sunday. Gatzke scored twice, while Hailey Langager and Veda Stringer also scored. Williams kept a clean sheet over 80 minutes. 

The United girls will return to league action on June 5-7 in Swift Current.
