Swift Current Rampage lacrosse teams remained busy over the May 8-10 weekend.
The U17 Rampage lost 8-7 to Weyburn in league action on May 10. Greysen Waiser led the way with two goals and one assist, while Mazin Zanidean also had a three-point game.
The U17 Rampage will host three South Sask Lacrosse League games on Saturday at S3 Arena. They will battle the Moose Jaw Mustangs at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. They will also face the Regina Chaos Blue at 6 p.m.
The U15 Rampage won silver at the QCMBL Mother’s Day Tournament. They opened the tournament with an 8-1 loss to Chaos Blue. They recovered with an 11-2 win over the Standing Buffalo Fighting Sioux, a 5-0 win over Estevan, and an 8-7 semi-final win over the Moose Jaw Mustangs. They lost the final 8-0 to the host QCMBL Chaos Blue.
Blaize Jorgensen led the Rampage with eight goals in five games, while Lucas Dawe added six goals.
The U15 Rampage will host the Moose Jaw Mustangs on Friday at 8 p.m. They are in Moose Jaw for two league games on Saturday.
The U11 Rampage Rowdy and Rampage Bruiser were also at the QCMBL Mother’s Day Tournament.
The Rampage Rowdy finished with a 1-3 record, highlighted by a 12-2 win over the Rampage Bruiser. They lost 5-3 to the Standing Buffalo Fighting Sioux, 9-5 to the Chaos Blue, and 5-4 to Weyburn.
The Rampage Bruiser lost 10-3 to Weyburn, 9-7 to Estevan, 12-2 to the Rampage Rowdy, and 13-2 to Weyburn.
