Lacrosse weekend wrap-up

Six southwest athletes played for the Flatland Coyotes girls lacrosse team at the GELC Ice Breaker Tournament.

Halyn Kendall played for the U15 team that won gold. They went 4-0 and beat the South Edmonton Warriors 4-1 in the championship game.

Gigi Kelly played for U13 Team 1. Everlee Warnke, Audrey Mullin, and Levi Cyrenne played for U13 Team 2. Both U13 teams went 3-0 in the round robin and played each other in the gold medal game. Kelly had a shutout in a 4-0 win for Team 1 over Team 2.

Brexley Polowy played for the U11 team that did not advance to the playoffs.

The Swift Current U13 Rampage beat the Regina Chaos Blue 9-1 in league play on Saturday in Regina. Luke Hudson led Swfit Current with 2-3-5. Lincoln Dyke, Jase Neuman, and Shane Kendall each scored twice.
