
The Swift Current Innovation Federal Credit Union scored four goals on 16 shots to defeat the visiting Prince Albert Northern Bears 4-1 on Wednesday.
The Wildcats led 2-0 after one period on a power play goal from Jalaa Moore Jagow and a Raela Packet goal.
Addison Davidge replied for the Bears with a second-period marker.
Moore Jagow added a second goal in the third period to double the lead and Stevie Christiaens added an empty net goal to seal the win.
Laynee Rondeau had three assists to take over the league scoring lead with 30 points in 23 games. Charlize Hillmer, Piper Arntsen, and Moore Jagow all added assists.
Ashley Vezeau made 29 saves on 30 shots in the win. Avery Brunen made 12 saves for the Bears, who fell to 4-12-2-3.
The Wildcats remain second in the Saskatchewan Female U18 AAA Hockey League with a 15-7-0-1 record.
