Kosick named WHL Player of the Week

Swift Current Broncos forward Noah Kosick has been named the Tempo WHL Player of the Week. 

Kosick, 17, compiled one goal and five assists in three games last week. The Victoria product posted one goal and two assists during a 4-3 overtime win over the Moose Jaw Warriors. He followed up with one assist in a 4-1 loss to the Saskatoon Blades. The 5’10’’ forward added two assists in a 5-4 win over the host Brandon Wheat Kings on Sunday.

Kosick is tied for sixth in the WHL with 13 points in eight games this season.

Kosick was drafted 11th overall by the Calgary Hitmen in the 2023 WHL Prospects Draft. He was traded to the Broncos after registering one goal and two assists in 34 regular season games last season.
