The Swift Current Broncos suffered their first loss of the season in Moose Jaw on Saturday, a 6-1 loss after winning their opening two games of the campaign.
The Broncos took an early lead with a Connor Dale goal 3:31 into regulation before the host Warriors scored six unanswered goals to improve to 3-0 on the season.
Lynden Lakovic led the Warriors with two goals. Gage Nagel, Casey Brown, Colt Carter, and Noah Degenstein also scored. Mathew Hutchison made 30 saves for the Warriors.
Aiden Eskit took the loss with 30 saves on 36 shots for the Broncos.
The Broncos failed to score on five power play opportunities. The Warriors capitalized once on four man-advantages.
The Broncos (2-1) will host the Vancouver Giants (1-2) on Friday.
