Veteran forward Jaxen Gauchier scored twice to lead Team Sakic to a to a 7-4 win in the Swift Current Broncos’ Blue & White Game on Monday.
The game was tied 1-1 after one period and 2-2 after two periods before the white team scored five goals in the final frame.
Anthony Wilson, Noah Kosick, Daxon Yerex, Jayden Simpson, and Parker Rondeau also scored for Team Sakic. Joey Rocha and Connor Thorn shared the win in goal.
Jayden Oleskiw, Miguel Bonin, Trae Wilke, and Nate Crashley replied for Team Kennedy. Aiden Eskit and Berney Weston shared the goal for the blue team.
The Broncos will open the Western Hockey League pre-season when they host the Regina Pats on Wednesday.
