Since February 10, 2024 Swift Current Municipal RCMP have received 5 reports of trucks stolen within Swift Current. The trucks included 4 Ford F350s ranging in age from 2000-2009 and a 2014 Dodge Ram 2500. All trucks have been recovered with the exception of the Dodge Ram, which was stolen during the evening of February 27, 2024 and is described as white with a silver topper, Saskatchewan plate # 630JHK.
The investigation thus far has led to charges against three Swift Current residents:
Helena HAMM, 26 years of age, has been charged with:
-Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000 – S. 354(1)(b) Criminal Code;
-Flight from Police – S. 320.17 Criminal Code;
-Mischief Under $5000 – S. 430(4) Criminal Code;
-Theft of Truck – S. 333.1(1) Criminal Code.
Vanessa HILDEBRANDT, 31 years of age, has been charged with:
-2 counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000 – S. 354(1)(b) Criminal Code;
-2 counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000 – S. 354(1)(a) Criminal Code;
Alec PATTISON, 31 years of age, has been charged with:
-3 counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime over $5000 – S. 354(1)(b) Criminal Code;
-2 counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000 – S. 354(1)(a) Criminal Code.
-Flight from Police – S. 320.17 Criminal Code;
-Mischief Under $5000 – S. 430(4) Criminal Code;
-Theft of Truck – S. 333.1(1) Criminal Code;
-Fraud Under $5000 – S. 380(1) Criminal Code.
