The Swift Current Innovation Federal Credit Union Wildcats lost 7-1 to the host Saskatoon Stars on Thursday.
Kyla Benjamin scored the only goal on the power play with an assist from Evangeline Hill. Paige Fischer took the loss with 30 saves.
Halle Duchene led the Stars with four goals. Ava Drabyk made 23 saves for the home team.
The Wildcats fell to 6-8-1-3 in the Saskatchewan Female U18 AAA Hockey League, while Saskatoon improved to 11-2-3-1.
The Wildcats will host Notre Dame Hounds on Saturday at 4:45 p.m.
