The Swift Current Pure Chem Broncos wrapped up their Saskatchewan U15 AA Hockey League 2023 schedule with an 8-4 win over the Estevan Bruins on Saturday. They trailed by two goals after one period before scoring six goals in the middle stanza to take control.
Hunter Wilm led the Broncos with two goals and two assists, followed by two goals and one assist from Kasey Gleim. Jaxson Squires scored twice, while Alex Erickson and Juris Busse also scored. Kadyn Olfert, Jake Hagrave, and Phil Lewans all added assists.
Cade Mitchell earned the win with 13 saves on 15 shots over the final two periods.
The Broncos remained in top spot in the South Division with a 13-2-0-1 record, while Estevan fell to 7-6-1-1.
The Broncos will return to league action on January 14 against the visiting North West Stars.
