The Swift Current Full Line Ag Broncos advanced to the second round of the South Sask Female Midget AA Hockey League playoffs with a shutout win Sunday.
The visiting Broncos defeated the host Parkland Lions 3-0 in the third and deciding game of the opening round playoff series, led by a shutout from Amaya Giraudier and two goals from Baylee Kirwan.
Kamryn Johnson also scored, while Courtney Funk and Tiana Knight added assists.
The Broncos had won game one 4-2, while the Lions took game two 6-4 as the road team won all three games in the series.
The fifth seeded Broncos (14-9-5) will now take on the top seeded Estevan Panthers (15-4-9) in the league semi-final series.
