A pair of Southwest Saskatchewan athletes helped their respective lacrosse teams medal at Nationals in New Brunswick.
Hudson Haydon was the only Southwest Saskatchewan representative on the U15 Team Sask Field Lacrosse team competing at Nationals. U15 Team Saskatchewan played a total of seven games and won bronze with a 16-5 win over Team Quebec.
Carter Michaluk was the lone representative from the Southwest on the U18 Team Sask Field Lacrosse squad. They played a total of five games and finished up by also defeating Team Quebec 9-8 to win bronze.
