Shaunavon’s Kalan Lind had a productive performance at the Capital City Challenge in Ottawa.
The Red Deer Rebels forward finished with three goals and one assist in five games at the tournament that included three teams of Canada’s top U17 players as well as the Canadian Women’s National Hockey Team.
Lind and Canada White opened the tournament with a 7-3 win over the Women’s National Team on Friday. Lind scored in the opening game at TD Place Arena.
Canada White lost their second game 4-2 to Canada Red. Monday, they lost 10-5 to Canada Black.
Tuesday, Lind scored both goals in a 6-2 semi-final loss to Canada Red.
Lind added an assist in a 6-1 win over the Women’s National Team in the bronze medal game on Wednesday.
Lind has five goals and four assists in 20 games with the Red Deer Rebels this season.
