The Swift Current Full Line Ag Broncos continued to make a strong push in the South Sask Female AA Midget Hockey League playoff race with their sixth straight win on Wednesday.
The host Broncos defeated the last place Notre Dame Hounds 5-0 to improve to 13-9-5 on the season. They scored single goals in the first and second periods, before opening the game up with a three-goal final frame.
Baylee Kirwan led the Broncos with a goal and two assists. Bailey Wilson scored twice, while Chelsea Wilson and Sara Kendall each added a goal and an assist. Jenna Olfert, Kayla Keith, and Kalea Sauder all chipped in single assists. Allison Wall earned the shutout in goal.
The Broncos will conclude the regular season on Feb. 11 when they host the Hounds at 8 p.m. at Fairview East Arena.
