Swift Current’s Kathy Hopfner is tied for second after one round at the 57th Senior Women’s Golf Championship in Yorkton on Tuesday.
Hopfner shot a 13-over par 85 to sit tied for second in the 13-golfer field. Rosetown’s Sue Skinner holds a six-shot lead after a seven-over 79 on day one at the Deer Park Municipal Golf Course.
Swift Current’s Denise Wilson is tied for fifth after an 87 on day one at the Golf Saskatchewan event.
