Seven SunDogs Volleyball Club teams were in action over the weekend.
The Fountain Tire 16UW placed third in Div 1 at Sask Cup 1 in Regina. They placed third in their round robin pool before winning their crossover match over Stealth in three sets. They dropped the semi-final to QCVC in three sets before defeating Huskies Premier to win bronze. They will attend the Fiesta Festival in Phoenix, AZ on Feb. 14-16.
The Southwest Sports Excellence 16UM placed third at SEAVC in Medicine Hat. They lost the semi-final to SEAVC Gold (21-25, 28-26, 13-15). They will attend Sask Cup 2 on Feb. 7-8 in Saskatoon.
The 15UM Elite SunDogs placed fifth in Div 1 at Sask Cup 1.They will attend a Sask Cup in Regina on Feb. 20-22.
The 15UW Elite SunDogs placed fifth at Sask Cup 1. They will return to action on Feb. 14 in Regina.
The 13UW SunDogs placed fifth at the Thunder Creek Invitational. They will attend their first Sask Cup this weekend.
The 14UW SunDogs placed second in Tier 2 at the Golden Ticket Tournament. They lost their final game to Weyburn Surge Black (19-25, 12-25). They will head to Sask Cup 1 in Regina this weekend.
The 15UW Selects placed second in Tier 6 at Sask Cup 1 with a 3-4 match record. They will attend Sask Cup 2 in Regina on Feb. 20.
