Five SunDogs Volleyball Club teams were in action over the Easter weekend.
The 15UW Elite SunDogs placed first at Sask Cup 3.
The 18UW SunDogs won the Best of the Rest tournament in Calgary.
The Southwest Sports Excellence 16UM SunDogs finished fifth at Sask Cup 3. They will be in Brandon for a tournament on April 9-10.
The 15UW Select SunDogs placed second in Div 3, Tier 2 at Sask Cup 3. They opened the weekend with wins over Yellowgrass VC, Touchwood Storm, and the SE Vipers. They added a three-set win over Unity VC in the crossover match.
The 15UW Selects SunDogs defeated the Wadena Thunder in three sets in the quarter-final (20-25, 26-24, 15-7) and added a three-set win over QCVC Black (19-25, 25-17, 15-13) in the semi-final. Their only loss came to the Watson Aces in the final (25-27, 17-25). They will return to action on May 1 at Provincials in Saskatoon.
The 13UW SunDogs placed 16th overall at Sask Cup 3.
