The Swift Current Titans Wrestling Club was busy in March at a pair of provincial tournaments.
Seven Titans earned medals at U9-U13 Provincials in Warman on March 22. Kade Armstrong, Sawyer Ruff, and Schalk Conradie all won gold.
Josiah Wiebe and Lieke Conradie both won silver at provincials. Callahan Kallen
and Luke Anderson both brought home bronze. Liam Friesen, Broden Wilson, Finnegan Friesen and Archer Hyde all placed fourth.
The U15 to Masters Provincials were held in Prince Albert on March 29. Gemma Tumback and Eric Shae won gold at provincials. Gabe Emperingham and Levynn Toney both won silver.
Ryley Bennett attended the Alberta Open and placed first in U19 and won bronze in the Junior event.
He won three straight U19 76KG matches to win gold. He defeated the Dinos’ Mannix Carney 10-0, Edmonton’s Gabriel Gonzalez by Fall in 1:56, and Mychailo Zienko 12-0.
