The Gull Lake Falcons will take on the Dalmeny Sabres in the inaugural Saskatchewan Senior Women’s Hockey League championship series this weekend.
Game one will be Friday in Dalmeny.
Game two will be Saturday at 7 p.m. in Gull Lake. Admission is a silver donation. If the series is ties after two games they will play a mini game after game two.
The league began play this season with six teams in the South Division and five teams in the North Division.
Gull Lake defeated the Yellow Grass Wheat Queens 3-1 and 4-2 to advance to the final.
Brienna Gillanders leads the Falcons with 23 points this season. She had one goal and two assists in the South Division clinching win.
