The Swift Current Innovation Federal Credit Union Wildcats shutout the host Regina Rebels on Saturday. The Wildcats took control of second spot in the Saskatchewan Female U18 AAA Hockey League with a 16-10-0-2 record.
Emilee Klapak made 22 saves for her second shutout of the season to improve to 11-6-0. Reese Kampen scored in the second period with an assist from Iralyn Calkins. Laynee Rondeau scored in the third period with an assist from Piper Arntsen.
Morgan Robertson took the loss with 27 saves for Regina.
The Wildcats will visit the last-place Notre Dame Hounds on Feb. 28 and March 1 to conclude the regular season.
