Jared Parsonage went out on top over the weekend as he won the PBR Canada National Finals in Edmonton and was crowned the 2025 PBR Canada Champion and then announced his retirement from the sport.

The Maple Creek cowboy rode all four bulls at Rogers Place in Edmonton to earn $150,000 at the Finals. He finished the season with $230,101.73 on home soil.

The top ranked cowboy heading in the Finals, Parsonage rode Jet Black for 83.25 points to tie for seventh in round one and followed up with 86.25 points on Pyper in round two to place second. In round three, Parsonage added 84.75 points on Trailer Trash to tie for seventh. Parsonage clinched the title with an 87.5-point ride on Moonwalk, the number one bull in the regular season, to win the final round.

Parsonage also became the first cowboy to ever win the PBR Canada Championship and the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association bull riding championship in the same season. He had won his third CPRA title at Rogers Place back in October.

Hazenmore’s Chanse Switzer finished 12th in the PBR Canada standings with $12,434. He tied for 14th at the Finals with an 84-point ride on Rock Steady in round one.
