The Swift Current Broncos lost their fourth straight game in a 3-1 loss to the host Red Deer Rebels on Saturday.
Beckett Hamilton and Landon MacSwain scored for the Rebels before Parker Rondeau scored the only Broncos’ goal in the second period. Samuel Drancak scored an insurance goal for Red Deer to close the scoring.
Joey Rocha made 36 saves in the loss. Matthew Kondro earned the win with 23 saves.
The Broncos fell to 6-6-1-0, while Red Deer improved to 5-9-0-2.
The Broncos will visit the Eastern Conference leading Edmonton Oil Kings on Sunday.
