Hudson Darby was the overtime hero as the Broncos defeated the host Moose Jaw Warriors 4-3 on Tuesday.
Darby scored 2:52 into the extra frame on a one-on-two rush for his third goal of the season.
The Broncos trailed early on a Nolan Paquette goal. They took the lead with consecutive goals from Anthony Wilson, Zach Pantelakis, and Noah Kosick. The Warriors forced overtime with goals from Pavel MacKenzie and Connor Schmidt.
Joey Rocha earned the win with 34 saves on 37 shots. Kyle Jones took the loss with 37 saves.
The Broncos improved to 4-2-0-0 with their first road win of the season, while the Warriors fell to 3-2-1-0.
The Broncos will host the Saskatoon Blades on Friday
