The Swift Current Broncos remain unbeaten this season after a 6-3 win over the visiting Medicine Hat Tigers on Friday. The game was tied 1-1 after one period before the Broncos scored five straight goals, four of them in the second period.
Zach Pantelakis led the Broncos with one goal and two assists, while Sawyer Dingman scored twice. Trae Wilke, Noah Kosick, and Parker Rondeau also scored.
Jonas Woo, Bryce Pickford, and Misha Volotovskii replied for the Tigers.
Joey Rocha improved to 2-0 with 33 saves. Jordan Switzer made 11 saves on 14 shots for the Tigers and Carter Casey added seven saves on 10 shots.
The Broncos will visit the Moose Jaw Warriors on Saturday.
