The Swift Current Home Hardware Legionnaires lost their Saskatchewan Male U18 AAA Hockey League opener 6-2 to the host Moose Jaw Warriors on Wednesday.
The Legionnaires led 1-0 and 2-1 on goals from Hudson Postnikoff and Trae Peterson before allowing five unanswered goals in the third period.
Jake Hargave had two assists, followed by singles from Tysen Kobley and Hunter Wilm. Cade Mitchell took the loss with 31 saves on 37 shots.
Kaleb Page made 20 saves for the Warriors. Maclain Ethier and Tobin Schaefer both scored twice for the home team. Carson Deichert and Carson Park also tallied.
The Legionnaires will visit the Regina Pat Canadians on Sunday afternoon.
