The Swift Current U18 AAA Home Hardware Legionnaires lost their final two games of the pre-season on home ice over the weekend.
Saturday, the Legionnaires allowed the final three goals in a 3-1 loss to the visiting Battlefords Stars.
Hunter Wilm scored the only goal with assists from Jake Hargrave and Porter Nickason.
Gage Cornish, Nash Coquet, and Noah Larre replied for the Stars.
Cade Mitchell took the loss, while Luke Norman earned the win for the Stars.
The Legionnaires lost 4-1 to the visiting Moose Jaw Warriors on Sunday. They opened the scoring in the first period with a power play goal from Wilm, assisted by Hargrave and Nickason.
Moose Jaw replied with four goals over the final 40 minutes from Wade Franks, Maxon Johnston, Kadyn Olfert, and Tobin Schaefer.
Josh Benjamin made 34 saves on 38 shots for the Legionnaires. Kaleb Page made 22 saves for the Warriors.
The Legionnaires will open the Saskatchewan Male AAA Hockey League regular season on Wednesday in Moose Jaw.
