Four Southwest golfers were in action at a Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour stop at Tor Hill Golf Course in Regina on June 28-29.
Cadillac’s Jonah Bissonnette finished fourth in the Peewee Boys Division. He shot rounds of 93 and 103. Hudson Deibert (Regina) won the division by 18 shots with rounds of 74 and 79.
Shaunavon’s Kellen Ross tied for sixth in the Bantam Boys Division. He had rounds of 85 and 79. Swift Current’s Max Gehl was 11th with rounds of 81 and 86. Jun Lee (Regina) won the event in a playoff after carding rounds of 73 and 71.
Swift Current’s Nate Silbernagel placed 11th in the Junior Boys Division. He had rounds of 79 and 93. Parker Riou (Strathmore, AB) won the Division by 10 strokes with rounds of 73 and 72.
The next MJT event in Saskatchewan will be at the Moon Lake Golf and Country Club in Saskatoon on July 28-29.
The MJT Mini Tour was also at Joanne Goulet Golf Course in Regina on June 27. Swift Current’s Soren Richards placed third in the Boys 8U Division with a score of 94. Herbert’s Jameson Fox was fourth with a 100.
