Surge place third in Lethbridge

The U15 Surge Green boys basketball team placed third out of eight teams at the Battle of the Bridge 2025 Main Event in Lethbridge on June 6-7.

The Surge opened the event with a 57-40 win over LCBC Vander Beek. AJ Peters led the scoring with 15 points, followed by eight from Jack Thomson. Alexander Fraser was named the Booster Juice Player of the Game.

The Surge lost their second game 65-35 to the Pincher Creek Grizzlies. Thomson led the way with nine points, followed by six from Darcy Wiebe. Peters was named the player of the game.

The Surge wrapped up the season with a 52-36 win over the Coaldale Chaos. Gradyn Jackson scored 12 points, followed by 12 from Artemio Doerkson. Jackson was named the player of the game as the Surge finished the season with an 8-6 record.
