The Swift Current Broncos were punished by the Western Hockey League for a post-game incident against the Brandon Wheat Kings on March 9. The Broncos were fined $1,000 for inadequate security and another $1,000 for actions of coach and players. The Brandon Wheat Kings were fined $750 for actions of players.
