On January 11, 2020, the Swift Current Municipal RCMP began an investigation into a garage break and enter where firearms were stolen. Through the investigation, police from both Swift Current and Maple Creek Detachments have executed two search warrants and have recovered a number of the firearms that were stolen and have laid the following charges:
