Community Services announces enhanced safety guidelines at City recreation facilities

The City of Swift Current and Community Services are currently working with the Government of Saskatchewan and the Business Response Team on the latest COVID-19 requirements for community recreational facilities. Continued facility protocols will be developed based on the parameters of the guidelines, including what indoor recreational opportunities will be available to the public.
Saskatchewan RCMP is advising motorists that Highway 1 between Swift Current and Gull Lake is closed due to extremely poor road conditions. There are a number of vehicles in the ditch at this time.
Swift Current RCMP are on scene redirecting traffic away from the area. Travel is not recommended at this time.
