Former Swift Current Broncos goaltender Stuart Skinner has been named the CCM/AHL Player of the Week. The WHL champion netminder stopped 106 of 112 shots last week during four games with the Bakersfield Condors.

He finished the week with a 3-1 record, a 1.50 goals against average, and a .946 save percentage. The week was highlighted by his first AHL shutout in a 5-0 win over San Jose on Wednesday. He added road wins over the Tucson Roadrunners over the weekend.

Skinner has a 15-10-3 record in 30 appearances with the Edmonton Oilers farm team this season. He was a third-round pick in 2017 by his hometown team.
